Papertrey Ink did watercolour with heat embossed sentiments as the technique for Make It Monday this week. I like how easy this is to do. You can have a very nice homemade card or postcard from a few simple watercolour brushstrokes. Although I really liked the look of the white or clear embossing on the watercolour front, I wanted to see the effect of gold embossing on a pink washed background. I love the look! With PTI's Trendy Tree Tops and Versamark, I used Lindy Stamp Gang' Golden Angel Wings Embossing Powder making this card is so shimmery and pretty. The watercolour set was a fairly inexpensive one from Michael's. I used three different shades of pink. I like trying new things. Thanks, PTI!
